Push and Pull Hand Controls

If you are unable to use the foot pedals in your car, push / pull hand controls will enable you to control vehicle speed with your hand. Available for right or left hand use.

Operation: Push the lever forward to brake and pull backwards to accelerate.

Infrared Controls

If you find it difficult to reach the switches in your car, infrared controls can bring them to your fingertips. They make it easier to manage items such as the horn, indicators and wipers, making it safer and more comfortable to drive. The control is normally attached to the steering wheel, with a choice of grips for single handed use. Available with 5, 9, 12 or 18 functions.

Operation: Simply press the clearly marked buttons, allowing you to keep your hand in one place whilst driving.

Steering Wheel Ball

If you find it difficult to hold and turn the steering wheel a steering wheel ball will give you more control when steering your car. The 'mushroom' is the most common although a large range of other grip styles are also available to suit.

Operation: Holding the ball with one hand allows you to rotate the steering wheel in either direction without adjusting your grip.

Left Foot Accelerators

If you are unable to use your right leg for braking and accelerating, this adaptation allows you to use your left foot instead. The controls are normally 'twin flip' so you can choose either the left or right pedals depending on who is driving.

Operation: The pedal operates as any other accelerator in either left or right hand positions and can be swapped by simply pulling the relevant pedal down into position. The unused pedal automatically stows out of sight.

Easy Release Handbrake

If you find it difficult to press the button when releasing your handbrake, then an easy release gives you the leverage to use it with comfort. Also available for the buttons on automatic gear levers.

Operation: An additional handle presses the button and provides more leverage.

Wheelchair Stowage

Joey Powerchair/Scooter Stowage

Simply park your power-chair or mobility scooter on the Joey lift platform and secure it with the straps. Then with the press of a botton the powerful robotic arm lifts the power-chair or scooter and stows it in the vehicle.

Operation: At the press of another button, the power-chair or scooter will be effortlessly lifted out onto the ground ready for use.

Roof Top Wheelchair Stowage

A rooftop system lifts your folding chair to a secure storage box on the roof for either the driver or front passenger. The car boot is then left free for anything else you need. Available for a range of vehicles and wheelchair combinations.

Operation: The operator simply transfers from the wheelchair to the driver's or front passenger seat, then at the press of a button the roof box opens and deploys a hoist that can be simply attached to the wheelchair. The hoist then lifts the folded wheelchair up and into the roof box to be automatically secured. The roof box then closes to protect the wheelchair from the elements.

Swivel Seats

The ideal solution for improving transfers from your chair or just getting in and out of your car more easily is a swivel seat. A number of options are available to rotate the seat and also raise and lower the seat to achieve the ideal height for you. Special seating systems are also available to provide extra support for children and adults alike. Available for drivers and passengers.

Operation: Manual or electrically operated seats turn out of the vehicle providing more space to transfer, sit down or stand up. Once seated the seat then swivels into position and locks in place for safety whilst driving.
