It is that time of year again when life gets extremely busy with Christmas preparations and all the other tasks that occupy us at this time of year.
However, soon our thoughts will turn to longer, warmer days, and the desire for a summer of adventures.
Brook Miller Mobility’s wheelchair-accessible leisure vehicles have been hugely popular in recent years, especially since COVID restrictions have lifted, after such a long period of us all being confined in our homes.
Unfortunately, whilst the restrictions have been lifted, the knock-on effect of COVID is still having a lasting effect on global vehicle manufacturing, and a heavy impact on production times.
If you are thinking of purchasing a wheelchair-accessible leisure vehicle, whether caravan, motorhome, or campervan for 2023, we hope the below guide will help you to assess your options.

Bespoke Liberation Motorhome
At present we have a number of 2023 model Liberation Wheelchair Accessible Motorhomes being built for our 2023 stock, built to our most popular designs from our knowledge of the most frequently desired facilities, both leisure and mobility.
The first of this stock will be available for a demonstration before the end of 2022, with the stock able to be reserved via a deposit. We expect these motorhomes to be very popular, so register your interest in a demonstration to be amongst the first to view them.

Further bespoke modifications are available upon purchase, we can provide more information about options available at your demonstration.
Bespoke Liberation Caravan
Our new 2023 models of Liberation wheelchair-accessible caravans are due to be available for demonstrations in early 2023, with anticipated handover dates ready for Summer 2023.
The 2023 models which are currently in production are based on our most popular layouts, with a very high base vehicle specification, and a range of leisure and comfort features included.
Despite being built to a set layout, our team of highly experienced engineers can adapt the caravan prior to handover, to meet a wide range of bespoke needs.
2023 Model Liberation CV451 Wheelchair Accessible Caravan
We do also have an option for custom-built Liberation caravans, which are built to your individual bespoke design. Unfortunately, lead times on our custom-built options will exceed the above lead times, due to the global vehicle shortage affecting our chassis stock and production.
We anticipate these new 2023 models being extremely popular, so please contact us to register your interest and be one of the first to see our new demonstration model once it is available for demonstrations. The 2023 models will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
Wheelchair Accessible Day Vans and Campervans
If you are looking for a van conversion leisure vehicle, either with full campervan facilities to include sleeping and cooking facilities or perhaps just need a simpler day van set up, this is also something we can help with.
Lead times would vary depending on which base vehicle you were considering, as global vehicle availability issues are affecting each manufacturer differently.
VW Crafter Medium Wheelbase Van – For Day Van / Campervan Conversion
A day van often has bathing or changing facilities, with a toilet or bathroom area, depending upon individual requirements. Some Day Vans may have a day bed included, whereas others do not need this option. They may have a very simple kitchen area, or perhaps just a fridge for storing essential medication.
A day van is often highly personalised to the user’s individual requirements. The best option is to book an appointment and discuss your needs with our team, whereas we can then produce a bespoke quotation.
Used or Nearly New Leisure Vehicles
We sometimes have used or nearly new Motorhome and Caravans which we have taken in part exchange or are selling on behalf of their owners due to a change in circumstances or requirements.
Any such vehicles are fully tested and prepared for sale by our in-house engineers and come with Brook Miller Mobility warranty and aftersales care.
If required, further modifications and bespoke adaptations can be discussed during a demonstration, if there is any aspect of a caravan or motorhome which is not quite right for you as it is.

At the time of publication, we have available for sale, a beautiful, very high-specification Swift Kon-Tiki 649 6 Berth Wheelchair Accessible Motorhome, built-in 2020 with very low mileage of less than 2,000.
This Swift Motorhome may be a great option for anyone who is looking for a larger wheelchair-accessible family motorhome, where there is no compromise on luxury and facilities. The motorhome has a huge slide out section, which provides a very impressive interior layout and space.

Bespoke Leisure Vehicle Modifications
Another option, worth considering, if you would like a wheelchair-accessible motorhome or caravan for the 2023 season is our bespoke leisure vehicle modification service.
Brook Miller’s Bespoke Leisure Vehicle Modification Service
Whether you have an existing motorhome or caravan, which you can no longer use, or you are struggling with, or have seen a leisure vehicle for sale that is just not quite right, our bespoke service may be the answer.
We can invite you to visit our workshop with your caravan or motorhome to discuss the adaptations you may require.
If you cannot come to us, we can arrange a home assessment. A small fee would apply, however, this is deducted from the cost of the quotation if you decide to go ahead with the work.
Alternatively, if you do not yet own the motorhome or caravan, with the permission of the current owners, we can provide an assessment service, prior to you committing to the purchase, to help you decide whether the changes you require are possible.
