Brook Miller Mobility has teamed up with RP Motorhomes to design and produce a brand new wheelchair accessible motorhome.
The Liberation is a high quality custom designed motorhome built using the Fiat Ducato base vehicle and at 6.36m long and 2.05m wide it is of a size that can easily negotiate everything from winding country lanes to supermarket car parks, without feeling too cumbersome as some coach built can. The Liberation is a motorhome specifically designed with a wheelchair user in mind. Access and internal dimensions have been designed to accommodate wheelchairs and mobility scooters and provides a very usable interior accommodation.
Home demonstrations are available anywhere within the UK with one of our expert demonstrators. As each motorhome is made to order especially for each customer there are so many options available to ensure you get exactly what you need and want from your new motorhome. With years of experience Brook Miller Mobility will help you get exactly the right mobility options to give maximum ease of use. With many wheelchair users eligible for VAT exclusion this can also be a much more cost effective solution to motor homing than adaptions to an existing motorhome.
Main features of the Brook Miller Mobility Liberation
Wheelchair entry to the Liberation is via an under floor side lift which will lift the user up to floor level for entry and exit and stow away under the outside of the vehicle to leave the whole area behind the front two seats clear for wheelchair tie down or storage whilst travelling.
Triple glazed windows make the cold a thing of the past, no more condensation due to the latest technology in sliding windows. The Liberation is designed to be used all year round with full insulation.
With the option of up to 150 watt solar panels and a 200 amp battery, wild camping is not a problem. A large 115 litre fresh water tank is situated over the rear axle helping not only with a smooth ride but it is also internally fitted, Truma combi 4e provides your heating and water with the added benefit of a under slung 25 litre LPG tank, which gives a very cheap source of habitation fuel and allows greater freedom than bottled gas.
When not in use the bathroom facilities are compactly stored behind folding doors which when opened create a large wet room. With chrome mixer shower, cassette toilet, LED lighting and roof vent / window.
The Kitchen has a large workspace with pull out chopping board, full gas cooking with 3 burner rings, oven and hob, microwave, and the 97 litre 3 way fridge gives plenty of cold food storage for long trips.
A raised cab step gives a comfortable area so that the cab seats can be rotated and used for leisure seating. A removable table can be fitted between the front seats, and then stowed away whilst travelling. There is a side facing sofa bench seat opposite the side entry door which pulls out to make a single bed. All lighting is LED giving a modern stylish finish with the added benefit of giving a longer battery life when not on mains hook up.
In the rear of the vehicle is a raised double permanent fixed bed with optional 12 volt rotating TV, and triple glazed window.
Storage will not be an issue in the Liberation, with high level cupboards in the living / kitchen area, Blum soft close draw systems, overhead storage cupboards to three sides in the rear bedroom area, as well as additional under bed storage.
A vast range of adaption’s are available for the Liberation and we offer a free home demonstration for each customer to ensure that their specific needs are met.
Some of the adaptions include entry equipment, under floor and inboard lifts, driving controls from a simple steering knob to full technical devices. Inside we can fit overhead hoists, electric beds and many more options.
