COVID-19 Guidelines & Procedures
Brook Miller are delighted to announce we are back in business, although we are operating on a reduced number of staff, we are here and ready to help you once again.
As with the rest of the nation, there are a few changes in the way that we operate, but rest assured we have undertaken comprehensive risk assessments for all areas of our business in line with Government guidance and this will be kept under constant review.
Showroom
Our showroom is open and we have introduced measures to limit the number of people in store at any one time, you are welcome to pop along or if possible, give us a ring to make an appointment.
On arrival you will see physical barriers and a separate waiting area, in this area we have provided masks, hand gel and sanitiser spray for your use. Our dedicated showroom assistant will greet you and ensure all relevant Covid guidelines are followed. Any products purchased will be fully disinfected prior to being handed over.
Home Demonstrations
We are now once again able to offer you a no obligation, free home demonstration. We have undertaken a detailed risk assessment as well as following guidance that has been put in place industry wide.
Our demonstration staff will be using PPE and will fully sanitise the vehicle on arrival. We ask that the number of people attending the demonstration is kept to the absolute minimum to reduce risk. We will provide PPE for you if you require it.
All of our vehicles have been kitted out with protection screens, these have been bespoke deigned in house to ensure that all features of each vehicle can still be demonstrated giving you confidence that the vehicle is right for you.
Due to the protective measure we have taken, test drives are still possible as we believe this is a vital part of the process to ensure the right vehicle is chosen, there are however some limitations which we can discuss with you based on your circumstances when the demo is booked or on the day.
Handovers
Many customers have waited patiently for their new wheelchair accessible vehicle whilst we have been closed and we thank you for this. We are now working towards getting vehicles delivered and handed over in line with Motability Operations (where applicable).
On the day of handover, the driver will be using PPE and will fully sanitise the vehicle on arrival. Just like a demonstration, we ask that the number of people attending is kept to the absolute minimum to reduce risk. We will provide PPE for you if you require it.
You will be given as much time as you need to ensure you are happy with all features of the vehicle and our staff will assist from a safe distance. It is of course vital that the use of all equipment, such as wheelchair tie downs are fully understood and that we are all satisfied on the use of these items prior to completing the handover.
