Our new 2023 models of Liberation wheelchair-accessible motorhomes are due to be available for demonstrations in early October 2022, with anticipated handover dates in Spring 2023. Get ready for long summers of endless motorhome adventures! The world is your oyster.

The 2023 models which are currently in production are based on our most popular layouts, with a very high base vehicle specification, and a range of leisure and comfort features included.

Despite being built to a set layout, our team of highly experienced engineers can adapt the motorhomes prior to handover, to meet a wide range of bespoke needs.

We do also have an option for custom-built Liberation motorhomes, which are built to your individual bespoke design. Unfortunately, lead times on our custom-built options will exceed the above lead times, due to the global vehicle shortage affecting our chassis stock.

We anticipate these new 2023 models being extremely popular, so please contact us to register your interest and be one of the first to see our new demonstration model once it is available for demonstrations. The 2023 models will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Motorhome Chassis

Our 2023 Liberation Motorhomes are built on the extremely popular Fiat Ducato Series 8 Chassis, which has a 9-speed MTA automatic gearbox, providing a very comfortable driving experience. Especially on long journeys, you will find driving a breeze.

Other vehicle options included in the motorhome specification are:

• A high-performance upgraded 180hp engine and upgraded 180 AMP alternator
• Fiat Captain Swivel Seats for easy transfer and comfort, these can be rotated to face into the motorhome living area
• 16” black alloy wheels with front black grill and black headlights, which provide a striking very clean finish. The motorhomes also have LED daytime running lights
• Leather steering wheel and gear knob, the steering wheel has radio controls, and the motorhome also features a DAB radio and navigation system with 10” display
• For additional comfort whilst driving, we have included the automatic air conditioning and Tempomat cruise control with a speed limiter
• The motorhome is fitted with a reverse camera for ease of parking plus a tow bar

Motorhome Dimensions and other key information

The Liberation CB650 stands at 6.7 m in length. This is our most popular size option as it provides comfortable interior space for most families, whilst remaining a manageable driving and parking length.

The CB650 model can be driven on a standard Category B license, as it is under 3,500 kg. However, we would always recommend, if your license allows opting for our motorhome up-rating service, which will increase the plated weight of the motorhome and allow for a greater payload to be carried within the motorhome.

You will be amazed by how much the total weight of all your travelling essentials can add up to when you work it out! Especially when factoring in mobility equipment such as wheelchairs and power chairs. Stay safe, up-rate!

Motorhome Accessibility

Wheelchair accessibility is provided via a Mobility XL slimline underfloor cassette wheelchair lift, which is easy to operate with a 4-button wired remote control which neatly stows away underneath the vehicle when not in use.

The maximum safe load of the lift is 300 kg and can accommodate chairs and scooters measuring up to 800 mm x 1200 mm. An additional electric step is fitted for when the lift is not required. The habitation door handle design on the 2023 model has been modified to allow opening by most wheelchair users when seated in their chairs, to provide greater independence.

Inside the motorhome, there is ceiling hoist track reinforcement built into the structure of the motorhome. The hoist track compatible with a Freeway Transactive Xtra person hoist can be installed – these are optional extras, please enquire for pricing.

Internal Layout

This motorhome is 5 berths. It has a fixed rear double bed with under-bed storage. The underbed storage is also accessible through an external locker. The motorhome then has a second double bed which converts from the dinette seat, plus an additional single drop-down electric bed.

An accessible open plan wet room is provided, with a cassette toilet which has been modified to allow for compatibility with some types of shower chairs plus a large area for showering.

Compact yet ample kitchen facilities include a 90l fridge, microwave with grill, sink and twin gas hob, both of which have glass covers to maximise the worktop area when not in use.

Two further travel seats are provided via the dinette seat belt points, which allows 4 passengers, with an additional wheelchair position if wheelchair tie downs are fitted. Wheelchair tie-downs are an optional extra.

Heating and Comfort

Heating and hot water are provided via a Webasto heating system, which is diesel fed, with a gas locker for your cooking gas requirements.

The motorhome is fitted with a solar panel to extend the period between the motorhome being connected to the mains hook up, as the solar panel helps keep the leisure battery topped up. Depending upon your requirements for off-grid motorhome use, there are a few optional extras you may wish to consider.

Finally, for your enjoyment and comfort, there is a large 4m Fiamma awning fitted, to enjoy meals al fresco.
