2023 Model Liberation CV451 Wheelchair Accessible Caravan C2

Our new 2023 models of Liberation wheelchair-accessible caravans are due to be available for demonstrations in early 2023, with anticipated handover dates ready for Summer 2023.

The 2023 models which are currently in production are based on our most popular layouts, with a very high base vehicle specification, and a range of leisure and comfort features included.

Despite being built to a set layout, our team of highly experienced engineers can adapt the caravan prior to handover, to meet a wide range of bespoke needs.

We do also have an option for custom-built Liberation caravans, which are built to your individual bespoke design. Unfortunately, lead times on our custom-built options will exceed the above lead times, due to the global vehicle shortage affecting our chassis stock and production.

We anticipate these new 2023 models being extremely popular, so please contact us to register your interest and be one of the first to see our new demonstration model once it is available for demonstrations. The 2023 models will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Accessibility

Our 2023 Model Liberation wheelchair-accessible caravans have the option of removable channel ramp entry or can be fitted with an underfloor lift.

The lifts are easy to control via wired remote control, which can be operated either by the wheelchair user or their family/carers. When the lift is not in use it stows neatly and discretely underneath the caravan. They are a great option to consider for wheelchair accessibility, due to the ease of use and convenience a lift can provide.

During the build of our Liberation caravans, we install additional strengthening within the caravan structure to allow for the future installation of a ceiling-mounted person hoist.

The hoist system is compatible with the Prism Freeway TransactiveXtra Ceiling Track Hoist which is available in manual or powered transverse.

Wheelchair Accessible Wet room and Toilet

Our 2023 model Liberation Caravans feature a large wheelchair-accessible wet room with non-slip flooring, with wet room central drainage.

Caravans, compared to other leisure vehicles are particularly well suited to a wet room layout. A self-contained wet room is tucked away to the front of the caravan behind a sliding door. It is a really good use of space as it gives you a large spacious bathroom in the lowered headroom space with plenty of room for manoeuvring a wheelchair when bathing.

The layout allows for a generous amount of space on either side of the caravan’s cassette toilet, which makes the toilet compatible with a shower chair if necessary.

Night-time layout – 5 Berth Caravan

The rear dinette converts to make a double bed. There is a double drop-down bed located in the ceiling space above which provides a further 2 berths.

There is then a single profile bed with an electric backrest, measuring 70cm wide by 190cm long. This makes a total of 5 berths in the 2023 CV451 Accessible Caravan.

Additional Features of the 2023 Models

Heating and hot water within the 2023 Liberation CV451 are provided via a Truma Combi 4000w system.

The kitchen area of the caravans is compact yet very well equipped. They feature a 90l fridge with a freezer section, a low-level accessible gas oven with a separate microwave and a grill located above the worktop level.  There is a sink and twin gas hob, both of which have glass covers to maximise the worktop area when not in use.

There is a range of LED lighting throughout the caravan, including under cabinet strip LED lights.

Ample storage is provided around the caravan with 2 spacious wardrobes, and overhead storage is maximised via wall lockers.

Finally, on top of a feature-packed internal layout, there is an external awning rail, to use with your choice of awning equipped and an outside plug to maximise those long summer evenings.
