Wheelchair Accessibility

The Liberation CB650 Coachbuilt Motorhome is accessible via a fully automatic Autolift F900 underfloor hydraulic wheelchair lift. The maximum safe load of the lift is 300kg and can accommodate chairs and scooters measuring up to 800mm x 1200mm. With a simple 4 button remote control it can be operated either by the wheelchair user or their carer. It offers safe easy access to this custom designed wheelchair friendly motorhome. Safety features include warning lights, non-slip surface, safety stop plates and an auxiliary emergency hand pump.

The motorhome also has an electric step for when the lift is not required.

Top Specification Finish

Internally the motorhome has been finished to a top specification finish, with white gloss cabinet doors, high quality upholstery with a combination of durable fabric and leather effect sofa, curtain and mattress covers. The motorhome has LED lights throughout, with new undercabinet LED strip lights.

The motorhome has a light and spacious interior with overbed roof skylight and large rear window measuring 1.5m wide and by 0.5m high. The motorhome has matching interior fabric curtains in the cab, and in the rear of the motorhome all windows have been fitted with fly screens and black out blinds, plus privacy curtains for the rear and side windows.

Within this coachbuilt motorhome you will not be short on storage. There’s a range of cupboards throughout with safety closes, plus full-length wardrobe (measuring 0.45m wide, 0.57m deep and 1.3m high). The large rear bed has additional underbed storage, accessible by lifting the lightweight sprung frame, this storage space accommodates the water tank, spare tyre and the sofa bed cushions, whilst still having plenty of space for extra luggage. The underbed storage can also be accessible via an external rear side locker (90cm x 35cm) for convenience.

Four Seasons

All year-round comfort has been taken care of thanks to the Webasto Dual Top Evo air and water heater. With a heat output of up to 6kw and hot water temperatures of 70c maximum.

To make the most of the warm weather the CB650 motorhome is fitted with a Fiamma F45 awning. Safe and easy to operate using an easy to hook winch loop, and when not in use it is enclosed in a very compact aluminium case. With Auto-Lock safety, Dual Security device, Fiamma’ s patented one-way roll system, Dual Shock Absorber and Extra Strong reinforced articulated arms, it is one of the best awning systems on the market. Also available (at an additional cost) are awning sides, shades and privacy rooms. The Fiamma F45 awning is mounted to the roof of the vehicle so that they sit clear of a sliding side door.

Driving Solutions

The driver and passenger seats can swivel to face into the motorhome for additional seating when the vehicle is not in use, and this can also help the wheelchair user transfer into the passenger seat if possible.

Alternatively, the passenger seat can be removed and a wheelchair securing system fitted for an upfront wheelchair travelling position. If the wheelchair user wishes to be the driver of the motorhome a range of hand controls and other driving adaptions can also be recommended, and a quote will be provided.

This motorhome can transport a maximum of 4 passengers plus 1 additional wheelchair user if wheelchair travel tie downs are fitted behind the drivers and passenger seats. There is a travel seat with 2 seat belt points which can also be used as an additional sofa.

Motorhome Layout

The layout of this motor home has been specifically designed with a wheelchair user in mind. It is open plan and spacious to make manoeuvring a wheelchair as easy as possible. With no obstructive thresholds and a single level throughout. The narrowest point of the motorhome between the bathroom door and kitchen units is 85cm wide.

It features a well-equipped kitchen with large 100L dometic fridge with 9L freezer compartment, built in microwave with grill, double gas hob and sink. The sink and gas hob have glass covers so when they are not in use can be used as additional worktop space. There is additional cupboard space in the kitchen area. As well as the two cab seats which can be rotated there is a sofa dinette. The table is removeable, and height adjustable, and can be extended. (Table width 65cm, length 100cm when folded or 135cm when extended). In addition there is a side table which is also removeable and height adjustable (45cm x 50cm)

For the night-time layout of the motor home the dinette area with tables create a spacious comfortable additional bed measuring 120cm wide and 220cm long.

The rear of the motorhome has a further double bed, height of bed 70cm, mattress measures 220cm long and is 120 – 140cm wide, with upholstered headboard, additional LED lighting, and 3 overbed storage cupboards completes this excellent use of space. Privacy curtains mean the bed area can be separated from the additional sleep space.

The 3^rd bed in this motorhome is a Project 2000 electric fold down bed to the front, which is stowed away into the roof of the motorhome meaning the bed can be kept made up when stored. The mattress measures 85cm wide and 195cm long and when lowered is 130cm high, accessible by a clip in step ladder.

The shower wet room has a cassette toilet, sink with tap / shower head and hook up point, useful under sink storage cupboard and is enclosed by a shower curtain. The wet room measures 1.1 x 1.4m.

Person Hoist Systems

The Coachbuilt Motorhome is preinstalled with a person hoist ceiling rail. The roof of the motorhome is reinforced during built to support the maximum safe lifting weight. This also helps future proof your motorhome purchase. If a hoist is not required currently but may be needed due to a health deterioration the rail is already in place and the hoist equipment can then be easily fitted.

We recommend the Freeway Transactive Xtra person hoist system, which can be purchased separately and fitted by ourselves in the motorhome ready for collection.

These are available in manual or powered traverse, and have maximum user weights of 130kg, 160kg, 200kg or 270kg.
