Liberation CV451 Wheelchair Accessible Caravan

The Liberation CV451 is a caravan specifically designed for a wheelchair user and their family. Every part of the design considers the daily struggles a wheelchair user can face and tries to overcome these challenges with convenience and style making holidays easier and putting the emphasis back on quality family time.

Accessibility

Access into the caravan is via an underfloor lift which is easy to control via wired remote control, which can be operated either by the wheelchair user or their family / carers. When the lift is not in use it stows neatly and discretely underneath the caravan.

There is an electric person hoist which runs throughout the caravan, running from the edge of the rear beds to the bathroom threshold, which makes bathing easy as it can access the shower, toilet and beds.

Interior

Inside the caravan you will find a modern stylish interior, complete with wood effect flooring, light and modern upholstery and wipe clean sofa covers. LED lighting is throughout, and cream gloss cupboards and walls make the interior really bright and warm. You will not be short on storage in this caravan and for comfort has Truma gas powered heating.

Kitchen

The kitchen within this caravan is fully equipped with Dometic 90l fridge, built in microwave / grill, double gas hob and sink. The sink and gas hob have glass covers so when they are not in use can be used as additional worktop space. There is additional cupboard space in the kitchen area also.

Living space

The day time layout of the caravan features 2 rear sofas and large dining table which can seat 4. The dining table is height adjustable and can be removed when not required. There is also an additional sofa with fold away occasional table.

When the caravan is laid out for night time the 2 rear sofas fold down, when the table is stowed away, make a double bed. There is an additional double electric overhead bed which lowers to bunk bed height and is accessed by a clip in step ladder with privacy curtains. An additional benefit of the electric overhead bed is that when not in use the bed stows away into the roof of the caravan, meaning that the bed can be kept made up at all times. The sofa also makes a single bed.

There are 2 full length wardrobes, plus additional overhead storage cupboards.

Wet Room

This caravan has a self-contained wet room which is tucked away to the front of the caravan behind a sliding door. It is a really good use of space as it gives you a large spacious bathroom in the lowered headroom space with plenty of room for manoeuvring a wheelchair when bathing, with a good amount of room on either side of the cassette toilet too.
